beigefügte leicht gekürzte mail poste ich hier mit Einverständnis vom CO-Monitor - ganz nebenbei bemerkt war die mail ca. 2 Stunden nach meiner mail wieder bei mir

Hello Claus,
you may call me Bruno. I am the main developer of CO-Monitor.
Your feedback has always proven very valuable and encouraging and I am glad to answer your questions.
The older search tool has been withdrawn so that it can be improved.
The suggestions were generated using a single trading system :
the Triple Screen system.
We are currently working on something which offers more possibilities.
It is a tool to design yourself as many trading systems as you can imagine. It will be possible to design complex entry rules as well as complex exit rules.
This is under construction, but you may have a look here :
http://www.clickoptions-monitor.com/trading_systems.php
I would be glad to hear your comments and analysis about it.
The triple screen trading system could be a filter with a similar design than that :
* If MACD has crossed recently its signal
Time scale : weekly
Direction : Up
Period fast MACD : 9
Period slow MACD : 19
Period signal MACD : 6
Since when (in units of time) : 5
* If trade prices have crossed recently a moving average
Time scale : daily
Direction : Down
Period of moving average : 20
Since when (in units of time) : 3
* If last intraday price has moved since last closure
Direction : Higher than
Min. distance(in %) : 0.5
The weekly MACD checks that the trend is up on a mid-term basis.
The daily moving average looks that the trade prices are going down for the moment. The intraday checks that the correction is over and that the rise will continue. This is just an example.
It needs more work on the following issues :
- Historical data should be always up to date.
This is our worst problem at the moment. Do you or any of your friends know about a cheap or FREE way to get updated historical data automatically ? We are fetching from Yahoo! now, but the data are little bit old.
- Integrate trading systems and signals sent into the portfolio manager.
- More indicators and more criteria for the filter's design.
- Trading system comparison and sharing between users.
- Testing and debugging.
I hope this email is not too long, but imagine the possibilities : we will be able to share in a collaborative way full trading systems and know objectively which are the ones performing the best for our dear ClickOptions products.
I invite you to test the new tool, to talk about it to your friends and to keep in touch with me for whatever question/feedback you have.
Best Regards,
Bruno.

Falls jemand von euch bzgl. des Datafeeds weiterhelfen könnte, wäre es klasse, wenn ihr das an den CO-Monitor direkt posten könntet. Würde letztendlich ja uns allen zu Gute kommen
